Caroline Bell Beckman is a shareholder with Erickson, Bell, Beckman & Quinn, P.A. Her practice areas include Municipal Law, Civil and Criminal Prosecution, Workers’ Compensation (Petitioner), Personal Injury and ERISA Subrogation. She is the City Attorney for Vadnais Heights and Assistant City Attorney for Roseville. She is the Prosecuting Attorney for Vadnais Heights, Roseville, North Saint Paul and White Bear Township. Ms. Beckman serves as a mediator/arbitrator for the Union Construction Workers’ Compensation Program. Ms. Beckman also served two three-year terms on the Minnesota Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Rules of Criminal Procedure. She is also a clinic supervisor at William Mitchell College of Law. Ms. Beckman also volunteers her time for Tubman Family Alliance as a Pro Bono Safety Project lawyer.
Ms. Beckman has been representing injured workers since 1988. She has presented at various Continuing Legal Education seminars on injured workers’ rights and also on municipal law and the open meeting law. She also won the first case approving disc replacement surgery in workers’ compensation court in 2005. Both as an injury lawyer and City Attorney, Ms. Beckman has tried numerous cases in the workers’ compensation courts and district courts.
